Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

This recipe was in Grandma June’s stash. She taught my mom how to make them, and my brother and sister and I grew up on these, sitting at the kitchen counter after school.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Soft and chewy, these cookies nearly fall apart from all the goodness stuffed into them.

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Cream together butter, sugar, and eggs until fluffy, slowly stir in milk.
  3. In separate bowl, combine dry ingredients and stir into creamed mixture until well-combined.
  4. Stir in oatmeal, raisins, and walnuts (if you're using them.)
  5. Drop from tablespoons on lightly greased cookie sheets, bake about 8 minutes or until light brown on top.
